It is a continuous sheet of pocketed springs, connected by a hot-melt adhesive (or other methods),
which is supplied rolled up onto a cylinder.
How it Works: A mattress manufacturer will unroll the sheet of connected springs, cut it to the exact
size and shape needed for their mattress model, and then place it into the mattress assembly machine.
The "Pocket" Itself: Each spring is encased in a durable non-woven fabric pocket. This fabric is crucial
—it must be strong enough to contain the spring's force yet flexible enough to allow it to move
independently without tearing.
